Dave Drost is a celebrated landscape photographer known for his captivating images of the American Southwest. Raised in Southern California, Dave developed a keen eye for detail early on, a skill that served him well in his initial career as the owner of a marine canvas manufacturing company. After discovering the stunning landscapes of Arizona and the Southwest in 2007, Dave transitioned into photography, a field where he could fully express his artistic vision. He is a self-taught photographer who has honed his craft through extensive fieldwork and study.

Dave’s work is characterized by his ability to capture the essence of natural landscapes, transforming moments into enduring visual stories. His portfolio includes a wide range of subjects, from dramatic nightscapes and serene desert scenes to dynamic weather phenomena. Dave processes his images using RAW file processing software and has the images printed on the highest resolution continuous tone printers in the world, to ensuring they retain their highest quality and vibrancy for over a century.

Dave uses no AI in his photography work.

He currently resides in Prescott, Arizona, where he continues to explore and photograph the region’s breathtaking landscapes.
